Port geometry has to work with the platform.
Barrel porting uses carefully positioned openings to direct propellant gas upward. That counteracting force can reduce rearward movement and muzzle rise, making the firearm more comfortable to control and helping with follow-up shots.
The number, size, and placement of ports matter. We evaluate the barrel, slide or shroud geometry, caliber, ammunition, and intended use before recommending a layout.
