FFL transfers

Know the transfer steps.

Transfers are $35 per firearm. NFA items are $125. If we’re not already on file with your seller, have the dealer email ffl@chandlertactical.com before they ship.

Don’t come in for pickup until we call you. Delivery to us isn’t the same as ready for you.

Transfer FAQ

The details people call about.

Billing and contact information must match your identification. If the transfer cannot be completed, you are responsible for the return authorization or shipping label.

01What is an FFL transfer?

It is the legal transfer of a firearm from a licensed seller or dealer to the buyer through us, including the required in-person Form 4473 and background-check process.

02How much does a transfer cost?

Our current transfer policy lists $35 per firearm, $125 per NFA item, $60 for a denial or non-transferable item, and $80 for fingerprint service when needed.

03What must the sending dealer include?

The dealer should include a copy of its FFL and an invoice with your name, phone number, order number, and the firearm make, model, serial number, and purchase date.

04What identification do I need at pickup?

An Arizona driver’s license usually covers photo ID and residency. Otherwise bring a valid government photo ID plus accepted government proof of Arizona residency.

05How long will you store the firearm?

We expect pickup within 30 days after notification. Our published policy applies a $12-per-item, per-day storage charge after that window.

06Can you handle NFA transfers?

Yes. Our published fee is $125 per NFA item. Visit us after arrival to arrange Form 4 processing and any required fingerprints.

07Do you provide fingerprints?

Yes. Our fingerprint-service price is $80 when an existing EFT file cannot be used.

08Can an individual ship a transfer directly to you?

No. We accept incoming transfers from valid FFL licensees, not unlicensed individuals.

09How do I know the firearm is ready?

Wait for us to contact you. Carrier delivery does not mean we have unpacked, logged, and prepared the firearm for transfer.

10Can I complete Form 4473 before I arrive?

No. The rightful transferee must complete Form 4473 here in person.
